Collect remote support data for servers

For servers that have remote support enabled, you can collect remote support data that is automatically sent to Hewlett Packard Enterprise for analysis. Only basic information can be collected from a server.

NOTE:
  • You cannot collect remote support data for devices which are in maintenance mode. You can enable or disable maintenance mode on a server hardware device from SERVERS > Server Hardware > Actions.

  • Service events are not generated while maintenance mode is on.

Prerequisites
Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select SERVERS > Server Hardware.
  2. Select the server for which you want to collect remote support data.
  3. Select Actions > Collect remote support data.
  4. Select Basic or Active Health.
  5. Select Yes, collect data.
  6. Verify the data collection status in the details pane or the activity screen.
