Verification Checklist
If the license file does not include the correct number of processors, the new processors halt at load time. The other processors in the system, however, will not be affected.
If you are adding server blades, they require a core license file. If the license file did not arrive with the blades, refer to the NonStop Core Licensing Guide for ordering instructions.

Obtain the latest NSC DVD with the latest firmware for:
iLO
System ROM (BIOS)
InfiniBand HCA
Innovation Engine (IE)
Server Platform Service (SPS)

- Obtain the applicable NonStop Firmware Matrices located at:
- Perform this procedure during times of low use, make sure that there are no latent failures, and that the system contains compatible firmware.

- If you are replacing a sublevel FRU within the server blade, see Additional FRUs in the server blade.
- Verify that you have reviewed the Quote Management System (QMS) Tech Doc which contains details about your system.
- Verify that you have checked both primary and backup communication paths of components (for example, server blades, CLIMs, and so on).
