About the Firmware Compliance display
The Firmware Compliance display lists the latest pending firmware updates and their firmware compliance reports for all the firmware bundles, hardware, and firmware components.
- Search for firmware updates and filter them using attributes such as hardware name, update category, hardware type, and firmware bundle.
- View the complete compliance information for all the firmware bundles, hardware, and firmware components.
NOTE:
The Estimated Update Time column in the display shows the approximate time taken for each hardware type to complete the update. The update time can vary depending on the ongoing operations in HPE OneView at that point in time.
- Expand areas of the display to refine the information that you want to see. Links within the firmware compliance report also enable you to view additional information about specific resources, especially if the notification is reporting a firmware update that requires immediate attention.
- Filter the pending updates by several criteria.
- Sort the firmware updates and their firmware compliance reports according to your preference.
- Assess the status of the change for each component and plan the updates for all hardware and firmware components.
- Navigate to the corresponding resource to perform a firmware update.
- Plan for maintenance windows or down-time for the hardware components by using the information provided by the update category regarding the status of a pending update. For example, flashing updates for a critical ROM fix must be addressed at the earliest opportunity.
- Download and export the firmware compliance reports in CSV or Microsoft Excel formats.
